At Chitra Apparels, we value our customers and strive to build lasting relationships by offering an Easy 3-Day Return & Refund Policy for most products.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

  • Returns or exchanges can be requested within 3 days of delivery if any issue is found with the product.
  • A clear 360-degree unboxing video is mandatory for all return or exchange requests for defective or wrong products.
  • Once the return request is approved by our team, the customer must dispatch the product back to us within 3 working days from the date of approval.

Return Process

  • After approval, the product must be shipped by the customer to our office located in 86, Shree Ji Vihar, 100 Feet Road, Kankroli, Rajsamand, Rajasthan, India - 313324.
  • Return shipping charges are to be borne by the customer.
  • Once the returned product is received and inspected by our team, the refund, exchange, or gift card process will be initiated.
  • In certain genuine cases (like defective or wrong product), the company may provide a reasonable shipping reimbursement of up to ₹100 per product through a gift card.

Conditions for Returns

  • Slight color variations may occur due to photography lighting, mobile/computer screen settings, or display resolution differences. Such variations are not considered defects.
  • Handcrafted products such as Bandhani and Gota Patti items may contain minor irregularities in dyeing, weaving, thread work, or stitching. These are natural characteristics of handmade products and are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Products showing signs of usage, perfume, stains, washing, or damage after delivery will not be eligible for return or refund.

Important Information

Order Cancellation

Chitra Apparels reserves the right to cancel any order due to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Pricing or technical errors
  • Suspected fraudulent transactions

In such cases, a full refund will be processed promptly.

Damaged Parcel During Delivery

We ensure secure packaging and dispatch through trusted courier partners. If the parcel appears damaged, tampered with, or opened at the time of delivery, customers are advised to refuse the parcel and immediately contact our support team.

Return Request Timeframe

All return or exchange requests must be raised within 3 days from the delivery date.

Product Condition

Returned items must:

  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Include original packaging and tags

Products without original tags or in used condition will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Products

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Customized or altered products
  • Sarees with fall-piko or custom finishing
  • Sale or discounted products

Refunds & Exchanges

  • Refunds will be automatically credited to the original payment method used while placing the order after successful quality check (QC).
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, our team will contact the customer to collect bank details for refund processing.
  • Refunds are usually processed within 5-7 working days after successful quality check and approval.
  • Customers can opt for:
    • Product exchange, or
    • Store credit / gift card for future purchases
  • Exchanges are allowed only up to the value of the original purchased product.
  • Shipping charges, if applicable, are non-refundable and will not be adjusted during exchange.

Fair Usage Policy

We respect and honor all genuine customer concerns raised within the specified timeline along with proper unboxing proof. However, false claims, misuse of consumer rights, unreasonable compensation demands, or any form of intentional harassment will be treated seriously and may result in appropriate legal action.

Chitra Apparels follows the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Our policies are designed to maintain fairness, transparency, and trust for both customers and artisans.
